We are thrilled to announce our latest College Partnership with The Catholic University of America! This amazing agreement ensures guaranteed admission to CUA for all Eustace students who meet the following criteria:
- On track to fulfill graduation requirements
- Maintaining a fantastic 3.0 GPA in all high school courses
- Planning to pursue Nursing, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or Physics and have excelled in pre-calculus for math as well as in at least 3 lab sciences, averaging no less than a “B” grade.
That’s not all! Catholic University will also be granting our students an outstanding minimum academic scholarship of $20,000 per year!

FRESHMAN
During freshman year, our counselors introduce the students to Naviance, a comprehensive college, career, and life readiness program designed to align student strengths and interests to post-secondary goals. Introductory lessons include the learning style inventory and the college search. Freshmen also learn about academic expectations, adjusting to high school, study skills, exam preparation, and available services.
In addition to meeting individually with counselors to complete the course selection process, we encourage students to make appointments with their assigned counselors to discuss successes and concerns throughout the year.
SOPHOMORES
During students’ second year, their counselors guide them through Naviance’s career assessment tools and career search engines, as they continue to explore the college search features. We provide sophomores with interest surveys in order to draw out values, preferences, and goals to identify potential majors and occupations. Counselors also help students review and analyze PSAT and PreACT results.
We encourage sophomores to research summer programs and begin visiting local colleges. Individual counselor meetings are mandatory for the course selection process.
JUNIORS
Students and their families meet individually with their college counselors to develop a college consciousness. We identify personal values and preferences to help match them to higher education settings. The Road to College Class offered in the spring reviews the college process which includes standardized testing options, the Common Application, writing the college essay, understanding financial aid, mock-interviewing, letters of recommendation, and summer planning, among many other areas that are covered.
We encourage families to plan college visits and attend our Junior Parent College Night and Jesuit College Fair. Parents are also invited to our personal college planning conference.
SENIORS
In their senior year, students and their families work with college counselors in a series of meetings covering applications, letters, essays, scholarship packages, and college selection. Seniors also take part in an exit interview to discuss college goals, potential careers, and their high school experience.
Students are encouraged to meet individually with their counselors and interact with college reps. Families are invited to attend our Senior Parent Financial Aid Night in the fall.
