Athletics are critical to fostering inner strength at Eustace. Here, every eligible Crusader is encouraged to develop physical, mental, and social talents that bolster their holistic formation. It is our goal for every student-athlete to grow by building lifelong confidence and discipline.

Before any student begins tryouts, practice, scrimmaging, or playing on an athletic team at Bishop Eustace Preparatory School, they must have the following official school documents completed, signed and submitted:

  • Pre-participation physical exam: Return medical forms to the Nurse’s Office.
  • Athletic permission forms: Return forms packet to your coach, or to the Athletic Office.
  • ImPACT baseline test: Review requirements for the ImPACT Test and complete as instructed.

SCHEDULE

The Cheer and Dance Team operate as one sideline team. Not everyone may have the same competence in cheer and dance; however, we will do whatever it takes to highlight each athlete’s unique abilities and talents. The Eustace Varsity Cheer & Dance Team is over 35 members strong and is proud to be a co-ed sport that encompasses two seasons. Eustace Spirit Team members are focused, dedicated to teamwork, and exhibit a positive attitude at all times. The program is physically challenging, with many opportunities for all Eustace students. The coaches provide rigorous training and conditioning for all levels, beginner to advanced. The team’s primary purpose is to promote school spirit within the Crusader Community and specifically at Varsity Football and JV and Varsity Basketball Games. Members of the spirit team participate in UDA and NCA camps and consistently achieve Varsity All American!

The Eustace Varsity Cheerleading Team is over 25 members strong and is proud to be a co-ed sport that encompasses two seasons and back again in 2020, an elite competition squad. A Eustace Cheerleader has to be focused, dedicated to teamwork, and exhibit a positive attitude at all times. The program is physically challenging, with a wide range of opportunities for all Eustace students. The Eustace Cheer coaches provide rigorous training and conditioning for all levels, beginner to advanced. The team’s primary purpose is to promote school spirit within the Crusader Community and specifically at Varsity Football and Basketball Games. Exciting news for 2020, the Eustace Cheer Team will be competing in 2 National Cheer Competitions. Five Cheerleaders achieved Varsity All American status in 2020. Head Coach: Kathleen Burke-Esposito ’99

SCHEDULE

Bishop Eustace sponsored the first Girls’ Lacrosse season in the Spring of 2008. Since their entrance into the Olympic Conference, the team has won 8 Conference Titles. A constant in post-season play, they have been in the Semi-Finals of the State Championship twice. They have 12 players who have reached the historic 100 Goal Club including Class of 2016’s Kristin Biche (TCNJ) that holds the school scoring record of 209 goals. The single scoring season record is held by current player Jordan Roessler ’24 (West Point Commit) with 80 goals accumulated in her Sophomore season. Current Sophomore Anna Marquardt holds the single-season Draw Control record with 135. While the team has had many accolades, Kristen Kelbon of the Class of 2014 (St. Joseph’s University) garnered Academic All-American in her senior season. Coach Kat Burke Esposito, Bishop Eustace Class of 1999, is in her 15th Season as Head Coach with a lifetime record of 160-91. She was named Coach of the Year by the Courier Post in 2008 and was a former Division I Player at Saint Joseph’s University.
