Job Title: Computer Science and Physics Teacher 

Bishop Eustace Preparatory School is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our academic team as a Computer Science and Physics Teacher. This unique position offers the opportunity to inspire and educate high school students in two vital subjects. 
 
Responsibilities: 
– Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Computer Science and Physics classes. 
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking. 
– Utilize innovative teaching methods to convey complex concepts and promote hands-on learning experiences. 
– Stay abreast of advancements in both Computer Science and Physics fields to enhance curriculum and provide real-world applications. 
– Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a comprehensive and cohesive educational program. 
 
Requirements: 
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field. – Teaching certification or equivalent experience in education. 
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
– Passion for inspiring students in both Computer Science and Physics disciplines. 
– Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and create an inclusive classroom environment. Preferred Qualifications: 
– Experience in curriculum development. 
– Familiarity with project-based learning methodologies.

Ideal Requirements of Candidates by Department: 

English: Holds or is eligible for New Jersey Instructional Certification with the appropriate teaching endorsement, master’s degree preferred.  

History & Social Studies: Holds or is eligible for New Jersey Instructional Certification with the appropriate teaching endorsement, master’s degree preferred.  

Mathematics: Holds or is eligible for New Jersey Instructional Certification with the appropriate teaching endorsement, master’s degree preferred  

School & College Counseling: Holds a master’s degree in counseling, clinical mental health counseling, or school counseling. 

Science:  Holds or is eligible for New Jersey Instructional Certification with the appropriate teaching endorsement, master’s degree preferred  

Theology:  Must have a BA or preferred MA in Religion, Religious Education, or Theology from a Catholic University College.

World Languages:   Holds or is eligible for New Jersey Instructional Certification with the appropriate teaching endorsement, master’s degree preferred.
