ENGLISH
At Bishop Eustace Prep, students learn not only how to understand important ideas, but also how to express themselves through formal, as well as creative writing assessments. Courses include British, American, and world literature study, critical and creative writing, AP English language composition, AP Literature and Composition, and film study.
HEALTH & PHYSICAL EDUCATION
In addition to routine physical wellness, Crusaders are introduced to a variety of campus sports. They also study peer relationships, driving education, the negative effects of drugs and alcohol, sexual reproduction, and certified CPR/AED training.
HISTORY & SOCIAL STUDIES
Students are challenged to understand our world and the forces that shape it, past and contemporary. This includes the study of American and world history, modern American and European politics, psychology, economics, geography and government.
MATHEMATICS
In addition to traditional college prep and honors/AP mathematics subject matter, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus, Crusaders are invited to learn statistics and data interpretation at the college level.
MUSIC
Many Eustace alumni are accomplished musicians who got their start with our vocal and instrumental programs. Young men and women can elect to learn an instrument, hone their voice as part of our chorus, or pursue focused, independent study.
THEOLOGY
Catholic and non-Catholic students find value in better understanding the moral principles that guide our Pallottine perspective. By studying history, scripture, and difficult modern philosophical questions, they grow stronger.
THE SCIENCES
College prep and advanced tracks for biology, chemistry, and physics are the backbone of our science offerings. Students may also pursue elective courses in experimental genetics, zoology, human physiology, and environmental science. Engineering and computer science represent significant opportunities for undergraduate study and eventual careers. Here, Crusaders learn the critical principles of computational problem-solving, data management, engineering design processes, and computer-aided design.
WORLD LANGUAGES
Our goal as a preparatory school is to give students the tools they need to understand and improve their world. Eustace Prep offers four years of language study, including AP courses, in Latin, Spanish, French, Italian, and German.
ADDITIONAL ELECTIVES
Rotating electives give Crusaders the option to explore college-level concepts and develop their critical reasoning skills. Through these interdisciplinary courses, they are challenged to question assumptions and take action.
HONORS & AP COURSES
In addition to deep dives into mathematics, language arts, and the sciences, our selection of 34 honors and AP courses challenge Eustace Prep students to explore college-level material in areas including music theory, macroeconomics, and politics.
DUAL CREDIT
The High School Plus program (dual credit) is designed to accelerate student achievement by awarding college credits for college-level work completed while in high school. The program offers freshman-level college courses. Diverse offerings include foreign language, computer science, history, political science, math, chemistry, physics, biology and psychology. Upon graduation, students can transfer their credits to a four-year college.
